Eczema

Eczema, or dermatitis as it is sometimes called, is a group of skin conditions which can affect all age groups. In the United Kingdom, up to one fifth of all children of school age have eczema, along with about one in twelve of the adult population. The severity of the condition can vary. In mild forms the skin is dry, hot and itchy, while in more severe forms the skin can become broken, raw and bleeding.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is an immune-mediated, genetic disease manifesting in the skin and/or the joints. According to the National Institutes of Health, as many as 7.5 million Americans have psoriasis. In plaque psoriasis, the most common type, patches of skin called "lesions" become inflamed and are covered by silvery white scale. Psoriasis can be limited to a few lesions or can involve moderate to large areas of skin. The severity of psoriasis can vary from person to person; however, for most people, psoriasis tends to be mild.

Both of these conditions are the result of the body’s immune system over reacting to an irritation to the skin. Occasionally, some prescription drugs also known as blockers or inhibiters will block the body’s ability to distribute nutrition through the blood and glands, resulting in flair up of the skin.

Our Royal Honey Bar along with Emu Oil, applied to the area will help restore the skin quickly.

Another recommended treatment is our Tea Tree Castile Soap or the Oatmeal Almond Castile Soap, both of which have been known to help.

If the condition is wide spread then I recommend our Complex Body Oil after showering, as a rich, nutrient based conditioner for the skin.

Drinking water in adequate amounts (one half gallon of distilled water daily) will also help to deliver the nutrition into skin more effectively.
